1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and Carpet City & Home Decorating Center (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 8400-F Hilltop Road, Fairfax, VA 22031. By accessing our website at https://carpetcitydecor.com, scheduling an appointment, requesting an estimate, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Services

Carpet City & Home Decorating Center provides the following products and services in Fairfax, Virginia and surrounding areas:

• Flooring sales and installation: carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), tile
• Hardwood floor sanding and refinishing
• Countertop supply and installation
• Bathroom remodeling
• Kitchen remodeling
• In-home and showroom estimates
• Mobile showroom consultations

All services are subject to availability and geographic service area. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.

3. Estimates and Pricing

3.1 Free Estimates

We offer free in-home and showroom estimates. Estimates are provided as good-faith approximations based on information available at the time of the estimate. Final pricing may vary based on actual measurements, material availability, and on-site conditions discovered during installation.

3.2 Quotes and Acceptance

A formal written quote will be provided prior to any work beginning. By signing or otherwise accepting a quote, you authorize us to proceed with the outlined work at the stated price. Changes to scope, materials, or timeline may result in additional charges, which will be communicated to you in writing before being applied.

3.3 Payment Terms

Payment terms will be set forth in your written quote or contract. We reserve the right to require a deposit prior to ordering materials. Final payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Financing

We offer financing options through third-party financial partners. Approval, terms, interest rates, and conditions are determined solely by the financing provider and are subject to their terms and conditions. We are not responsible for financing decisions or terms offered by third-party lenders. Financing is subject to credit approval.

5. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Carpet City & Home Decorating Center, you agree to the following:

5.1 Program Description

Carpet City & Home Decorating Center uses SMS messaging to communicate with customers regarding:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling
• Estimate follow-ups and project updates
• Promotional offers and seasonal sales
• Customer service communications

5.2 Consent

• You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the [Phone Number]. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

5.7 No Sharing of SMS Consent

Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Appointments and Cancellations

We request at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated cancellations without notice may affect our ability to schedule future appointments. We reserve the right to charge a fee for installation appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice if materials have already been ordered.

7. Installation Terms

7.1 Site Preparation

Customer is responsible for clearing furniture and personal items from the areas to be installed unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to prepare the site may result in delays and additional charges.

7.2 Subfloor and Existing Conditions

Our estimates assume a standard subfloor and existing conditions. Additional charges may apply if subfloor issues, moisture problems, or other unforeseen conditions are discovered during installation.

7.3 Workmanship Warranty

We warrant our installation workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate and governed by the applicable manufacturer’s terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Carpet City & Home Decorating Center for any claim arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on https://carpetcitydecor.com, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Carpet City & Home Decorating Center or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
